FUME SCRUBBERS, BLOWERS & DUCTS

Poly Pac Packed Tower Scrubbers are highly effective for the prevention and removal of inorganic gases, odors, and fumes, especially in exhaust air containing hydrochloric acid and nitric acid fumes. Poly Mist Scrubbers are ideal for eliminating acid mist and fumes from the exhaust air of process baths, particularly those containing chromic acid and sulfuric acid. These scrubbers can be used independently or as "prescrubbers" to enhance the performance of packed scrubbers. Vertical Flow Scrubbers are well-suited for chemical processes, metal finishing, semiconductor manufacturing, and various other industrial operations that generate fumes and gases. The best performance is achieved by systems that provide optimal gas/liquid mixing with low pressure drop.

Our standard construction materials include polypropylene, fiberglass, and PVC, with optional materials such as high alloy metals like stainless steel and Hastelloy available.

ACID & RINSE WATER RECYCLING SYSTEM

Acids play a crucial role in various production processes, including etching, pickling, polishing, deburring, metal refinement, passivation, activation, ore digestion, leaching, nitration, sulfonation, neutralization, catalysis, and ion exchange, among others. Common types of acids include sulfuric, phosphoric, nitric, and hydrofluoric acids, as well as their mixtures. During production, these acids help eliminate impurities such as metal ions, complexes, organics, and solid particles.

Polyfill Microns provides systems designed to remove these metals from solutions, facilitating continuous recycling. For critical applications, we conduct laboratory or pilot studies prior to implementing the system. Our offerings include:

1. Chromic Acid rinse & Bath Recycling
2. Chrome passivation bath recycling
3. Nickel sulfate rinse & bath recycling
4. Hydrochloric and sulfuric acid pickling bath recycling
5. Anodizing bath recycling
6. Degreasing bath recycling
7. Yarn jet wash water recycling
8. Garage/Car wash water recycling

We utilize a variety of treatment methods, including:
1. Ion Exchange columns
2. Membrane Technology (RO/NF/Diffusion Dialysis)
3. Chemical Treatment
4. Physical Separation

DM PLANT

Deionized water, often referred to as DM, is essentially water that has had most of its mineral and dissolved ion content removed, resulting in pure water. Its purity is assessed based on its value; pure water does not conduct electricity, as it is the ions that facilitate electrical conduction. The deization process involves an ion-exchange method where water passes through resin, exchanging hydroxide ions (OH-) for negative ions. The highest quality deionized water is produced using mixed-bedionization (MBDI), which combines both cation and anion exchange resins, while separate columns for anions and cations are less common due to the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of reverse osmosis. The quality of deionized water is measured by its conductivity or resistivity, as shown in the chart below, where resistivity is indicated above the line in ohms or megohms, and conductivity is below the line in microsiemens.

Deionized (DM) high purity water is crucial for numerous applications, including:

1. Medical Offices
2. Laboratories
3. Pharmaceutical Companies
4. Cosmetic Companies
5. Large Aquariums and Fish Tanks
6. Electronics Manufacturing Plants
7. Food Processing Plants
8. Planting and Anodizing
9. Final Rinse in Car Washes

Type III Purified Water is classified as having a resistivity of 1 megohm to 0.02 ohms or 1 to 50 microsiemens. Type II Pure Water ranges from 1 to 10 megohms or 1.0 to 0.1 microsiemens. Type I Ultra-Pure Water is defined as having a resistivity of 10 to 18.2 megohms or 0.01 to 0.0555 microsiemens.

MEMBRANE FILTRATION SYSTEM / RO SYSTEM

POLYFILL's RO/NF/UF membrane systems provide comprehensive filtration solutions. Our nanofiltration effectively removes  dissolved organics, and softening agents. Reverse osmosis is utilized for the removal of total dissolved solids inorganic ions, such as nitrate and radium, while ultrafiltration and micron filtration serve as filtration for RO systems, eliminating suspended solids and oils.

We pride ourselves on offering the finest custom-manured water treatment systems in the industry, ensuring exceptional service and support from initial design through construction, commissioning, and throughout the project's life.

For treating particularly challenging waters, a successful approach may involve a combination of conventional and membrane treatment equipment within a single system. Our systems have a capacity ranging from 500 LPH to 10,000 LPH.
